In Honor of the Summer Hair Challenge (Have You Sent Your Pic?!): An Acure Organics Encore on OpenSky
The days are winding down for you to send in your summer hair challenge pics! (Which officially ends Sunday, unless we decide to extend it—ahem.) We’re getting a bunch of applications, but we want more! And in honor of the challenge, OpenSky has decided to encore our Acure Organics deal. Boom.
As you may recall, the rules for the challenge are as follows: Get your hair wet, either wash and condition, just condition (like me!) or do nothing (ya hippie!), then let your hair air dry and snap a pic. Send your lovely portrait to us at nomoredirtylooks (at) gmail (dot) com with HAIR CHALLENGE in the subject line. Pretty easy stuff.
Oh, and use clean products! As it so happens we both used Acure for our challenge, hence the genius idea of rebooting this deal… I’m also pleased to say that my husband is quite taken with the shampoo, and has stopped threatening to go back to Head & Shoulders—something he likes to do just to annoy me.
Hello! Did the Acure (orange bottle) help your hubby’s scalp? My scalp is so sensitive after yrs of abuse. Dr. Bronner’s seems to be the only thing that doesn’t make it all flakey, but it flattens my hair to nothing. I know there is prob no quick fix, but I would love to hold out some hope for Acure…
Please bear with me! I always think about sending you a picture when I can’t, because I’ve used the blow dryer or got into the reain and look like a dripping monster. :P I promise to send one in later this week! :)
@Leslie-When I tried a version of Acure (sorry, don’t remember which one) both I and my husband broke out in pimple-like bumps on our scalps and necks (apparently wherever the shampoo touched).
