Happy Friday Deal from W3LL PEOPLE!

Things are getting hot you guys, WHITE HOT. OK—dorky!—but today we do have an extraordinary deal from one of our favorite natural makeup lines, W3ll PEOPLE. For those of you who know this brand, you know they’ve somehow figured out the magic formula for making natural makeup high performance. We love today’s special set because it contains two iconic items everyone needs.

The deal is on W3LL’s White Hot Summer Set, featuring their new HYPNOTIST black eye pencil (which Siobhan is in love with it, FYI, amazed by how it doesn’t run) along with two Elitist Loose Mineral Shadow Pots.

The eye shadows are made with white pigments that create a sheer and luminous look in a very subtle violet and green (like almost white subtle, and so pretty). The products work great together, a total modern twist on a classic combo. And thanks to your comments we’ve included on-model shots that W3LL was kind enough to include.

This special set is already being marked down from $56 to $39, but with the NMDL code you get an additional $10 off! Boom. Goes. The. Dynamite. Will you get it? What else have you tried from these guys?

Yes. I will definitely be giving this Friday Deal a go. I don’t usually like deals where you have to buy a set package. I prefer to get a good discount on what I want/ need, but these items look fantastic.

I lovelovelove everything I’ve tried from w3ll people, which is a few different colours of the lip/cheek stuff and the narcissist foundation. And seriously the customer service is better than any other place ever! Great deal!

  3. Their foundation is amazing. It’s my favorite, by far.

  4. Sam says:

All their products look lovely. I have never tried this line before but I am going to now :)

  5. Rebecca says:

Do they make other eye pencil colors? I can’t find the eye pencil on the website other than as part of the set and I’d love more info about it, ingredients, etc.

  6. Lauren says:

I want to love this line so badly, but it seems to not be suitable for sensitive skin. I ordered some samples from W3LL directly, and although they are great color and formula-wise, my skin burned and got some tiny hive-like marks where I applied the products. So sad. They seem strongly scented of natural goodness, so maybe just too much/too strong for sensitive types?

  7. Rebecca says:

@Lauren, I had a similar experience with their Universalist and Nudist products. Their EO blend is just not for me, but they were great about helping me return items. I wish they were specific on the website about which EOs they use in each product, that would help us sensitive types a lot. Some things say “fragrance free” apparently meaning they aren’t intentionally adding anything for scent, but they do list “essential oils” in some ingredient lists. I love some EOs but others are awful for me. The colors are really gorgeous though and they are very helpful with choosing what would work with various skin/hair tones, so you non-sensitives will probably love them!

@ Rebecca and Lauren. Isn’t sensitive skin a funny thing? I too have sensitive skin, coconut oil and shea butter are big no no’s for me and please keep the sea buckthorn away, we’re talking serious eczema with that one, but I can use Well People with no issues. In fact I find it very soothing and right now it’s hay fever season when my skin is more reactive than normal and if anything the Well People is toning down the hives. RMS seems to be a good brand for a lot of sensitives but when I put coconut oil near my eyes the eczema patches I’m prone to there start to itch. I think that if you have sensitive skin a “proceed with caution” attitude is usually wise but it never stops blowing my mind how many different types of sensitive skin there are.

  9. Daniella says:

+1 on Rebeca’s question. When will the pencil be available separately?

  10. Daniella says:

    Sorry – Rebecca. :) With two “c’s”.

  11. W3LL PEOPLE says:

Thank you all for the MAJOR props! Seriously, you all make us so proud and eager to do more to keep our make up HAPPY. For our sweet sensitive skins, the EO blend is in the scent. It comprises .05% of the product… For the Nudist: peppermint and vanilla. For the Universalists and Narcissists: Holy Basil, Rosemary, Vetiver and Tomato Leaf…
As for the colors in the set… enjoy them. The shadows are ivory bases with a veil of iridescent green and violet. A little trick: smudge the liner all over the eyelid, and dust either shadow over the liner… instant opal of an eye :)

  12. Rebecca says:

@Beth, you are right – people can be sensitive to just about anything. It’s interesting that you have a sensitivity to those particular oils, maybe they all have something in common. Now the sciencey me is very curious about what that might be, they are pretty different plants, other than liking warm climates. Sounds like we are quite opposite in skin type, I love all those oils and find them very soothing. All these differences people have make it so important that companies have reliable and easily accessible ingredient lists.

  13. Beth says:

@Rebecca. I know what you mean about interesting. They seem like they should be fairly innocuous oils especially on my delicate dry skin but I’m also prone to acne/ seborrhea so…? I’m allergic to the green stuff in aloe leaves, latex, kiwi, sometimes EOs can be an issue too but for me it’s hit and miss. Sometimes I think it has a lot to do with quality and concentration. Rose oil is fine but lavender can be an issue which Is really hard to avoid. My skin loves tamanu oil and I’d love to try argan oil but I’ll have to wait until I can find a sample. I don’t want to risk buying a whole bottle.

  14. Gloria says:

Hi Beth, I suffer from severe eczema and psoriasis and I was so embarrassed about my skin until I started using argan oil about six months ago. I suggest you try it because it may the thing that will turn it around for you.

I like to read the comments, but I have never myself commented. I just wanted you to know what really changed my life and it was because of this blog. My skin is clear and dare I say pretty now. It was always red with little bumps and now they are gone too! Good luck and I hope it works for you.

    Gloria

  15. Jamie says:

    @ Beth:

Spirit Beauty Lounge is great about offering samples (3) with orders and you can even purchase a “sample kit” if you like. I highly recommend giving their sample kit a go. I recently had some makeup I wanted to try before committing to full size products and the amounts are perfect for sensitive types to be able to try things out. Anyway, they offer a sample size (small, but enough to get an idea of how it will or won’t work for you) of Kahina’s argan oil (which is amazing). I really enjoy ordering from a company that offers samples and clearly posts ingredients lists. It shows they really care about their customers.

  16. Alexandra says:

@ Gloria, we’re super touched to hear that. And we hope you keep commenting too. ;)

  17. Beth says:

@ Gloria, skin conditions can make life uncomfortable in so many ways. My skin can go from lovely to unbearable especially when the eczema monster attacks my eyes. I seem to have uncovered most of my food triggers but it can still flare up with little warning. After hearing your experience with argan oil I’ll definitely give it a go.

P.S. I’ve only recently started commenting myself.

@Jamie, I live in the Yukon and so often have to resort to mail order to get high quality products. The selection of clean products up here is truly dismal so next time I need something I’ll give Spirit Beauty Lounge a try. It’s so helpful to know about the samples.

    Thank you both.
