What Do You Love About Your Looks Right Now?
So here’s what we’re going to do:
We want all of you who comment and the many more of you who lurk (we see you! we love you!) to come out of hiding and name one thing you love about your looks right now, today, this second. Go!
I did this with people I barely even know last week, and then again last night at dinner with our friends Anna and Erika. Groan, groan, groan, I know. It’s super corny! But it also feels nice.
People seem to spend an awful lot of time saying they need to lose weight, or their skin sucks, or how they wish they had curly/straight/blonde/brown/black/red hair, how their smile lines are deepening—you name it. We all do it, and that’s fine. But part of the message of our book, and our message here, is that chasing the beauty dragon makes you feel bad, and we want to find ways to feel good, and embracing your natural beauty is part of that and…
Oh never mind the reason. Just do it! Tell us something you love about you! (We’ll do it too, in the comments.)

I love my green eyes. The shape and color! They are the perfect mix of my mom’s lighter green eyes and my dad’s forest green.
I love the shape of my lips and rocking a red lip with them.
I love the beauty mark I have between my brows that looks like a Bindhi.
=)
I love my growing baby bump and glowing, supple skin. At 7 1/2 months pregnant I have found a new love for taking care of myself by using safe and natural products. I am so thankful to not have anymore breakouts and ever so thrilled on finally being aware of the harmful chemicals in foods and products and how to avoid them! Thanks to your site for always sharing insightful info!
I like that my skin has finally cleared up, after months of having painful, cystic acne. I can finally, confidently, leave the house without makeup on! Also, I love the tiny spaces between my teeth and that my hair is its natural color and texture again, and also that it’s long enough that I can braid it in every way possible. I love my waist.
I’m having a tiny problem I can’t seem to be able to subscribe your feed, I’m using google reader by the way.
I love that I’m finally comfortable in my skin and with my body. I know what looks good and what dress shapes are the most flattering. I’d say looks wise I’m happiest with my smile. Years of braces and being obsessed with dental hygiene have paid off!
I love my freckles :)
