Happy Friday Deal from Futurenatural!

Sad we didn’t do a deal last Friday? Well, we’re making it up to you with a brand new partner and a really killer one today. Let’s meet Futurenatural, shall we? We love the look and feel of this site, and we dig the attitude too: “We’re not anti-science, we’re not blindly for nature, and we don’t profess to be perfect.” While the store carries many of our favorite staples—Kahina, RMS, Intelligent Nutrients, John Masters and so on—they also have some brands that we haven’t seen anywhere else. And this week’s deal will introduce you to something awesome!

Before we get to that, just one more thing: Futurenatural sells Scotch Naturals, our new favorite nail polish line. If you’re looking for an exciting color for the spring or summer, we HIGHLY recommend you throw one of these into your basket. Okay, that’s it! Onto the good stuff…

Here’s the deal: We’ve been on a face sunscreen kick lately, so with any order over $25 Futurenatural is offering you a free brand-new face sunscreen by ECO (Logical) (from the people who brought you Soleo Organic Sunscreen which—spoiler alert!—is one of our favorites). UPDATE: APPARENTLY THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH SOLEO–OUR BAD! SOLEO IS STILL ALIVE AND WELL AS A BRAND. This puppy — ECO Logical All Natural Sunscreen Lotion, FACE (SPF 30) — is water-based, is not oily (for those of you who don’t like the slickness of some other screens), absorbs amazingly with no white cast, and wears like a dream under makeup.

Simply enter the promo code ECO checkout to get your freebie.

Recap: Spend $25, get a FULL SIZE free face sunscreen. Boom!

Note: The free product will ship automatically with anyone using the code even though it won’t show up during checkout.

Here’s the complete and awesome ingredient list:

Active Ingredients: zinc oxide 20%
Inactive ingredients: Purified water, Isoamyl laurate, capric/caprylic triglyceride, sorbitan stearate, sucrose cocoate, caprylyl glycol, cetearyl alcohol, cetearyl glucoside, hydroxypropyl starch phosphate, polyhydroxy stearic acid, xanthan gum, cucumis sativa (cucumber) seed extract, rosa canina (rosehip) seed oil, camellia sinesis (green tea) extract.

Happy trails, and have a great (and hopefully sunny) weekend!

P.S. Futurenatural ships to Canada for a flat rate of $20 up to five pounds.

  9. Alexandra says:

Hey Catie, it’s running as long as supplies last — so you can still get it! :)

  10. Karen says:

Anyone out there who has tried this sunscreen yet? I recently tried the vive sana and my skin had some sort of allergic reaction/minor breakout even after trying it for a week and half (I can’t tell whether it is from the titanium dioxide or another ingredient in the product). I’m hoping to find something all natural that also won’t make my skin freak out. Reviews of this one or suggestions of others would be great. Thanks in advance!

  11. Katy says:

The deal is no longer available. It seems I can still order as a paid item but their “supply” of freebies has run out. :-(

  12. Dorinda says:

Freebie or not I hope this is some good sunscreen. I just ordered the sunscreen for body & pray that it works well! My skin is so fair I get burned in the shade. To date the best sunscreen I’ve found is Blue Lizard but it leaves the greasy, white, residue & sunscreen smell. Please work. Please work. Please work.

On another note… I also ordered The All-Nighter hair powder. Hope this works too. Anybody know anything about this?

  13. Naomi says:

I’ve been trying to get in touch with a customer service representative to ask some questions, but every call goes to voicemail, nobody will return my call and so far (4 days) no response to my e-mail. I love the lines they carry but can anyone vouch for their reliability? So far I’m quite wary of their inaccessibility.

  14. Dorinda says:

@Naomi I’ve been wondering the same thing about their reliablity. I placed an order with them a week ago, received 2 emails saying my order has been processed & will be shipped within 24-48 hours but they have yet to charge my credit card for my purchase. I didn’t receive a confirmation order, tracking number or anything after placing my order so I’m getting a little wary of them as well.

  15. Naomi says:

@Dorinda – they did respond to my e-mail and I have placed an order. However, despite their website stating I would be able to select my samples there was no opportunity for me to do so. Of course there is nobody answering the phone but I have sent an e-mail requesting they provide me with my choices (no point in getting something inappropriate for my taste or skin / hair type). I hope this works out, I haven’t been able to find any other stockist for this sunscreen and am desperate to find one I like!

  16. Dorinda says:

@Naomi- Thanks for the info. I wasn’t given the opportunity to select any samples either. Yesterday was a week since I placed my order & still haven’t been charged for it. I was really hoping to receive the ECO sunscreen before I go on vacation in 2 weeks! I didn’t get an order/confirmation number so I can’t exactly check on my package. I know how you feel about being desperate to find a good sunscreen. If I ever receive this it better be well worth it!

  17. Dorinda says:

Well I received my package from Future Natural today, fingers crossed the sunscreen & hair powder works wonders. My checking account still hasn’t been charged though. Maybe I should just count my blessings!

  18. Naomi says:

I’ve placed an order with Futurenatural a week ago and despite an immediate confirmation (as well as my account immediately being debited for the payment!) there is no sign of the order, or of the e-mail that is to be sent when they ship an order. I now recall a huge issue I had with them ages ago and the frustration I experienced in not being able to get in touch with anyone. The phone ALWAYS goes to voicemail and I can never leave a message because the mailbox is full. Nobody responds to my e-mails. Any suggestions on how I can get through to these cowboys, please?
