Happy Friday (and Weekend) Deal from Tata Harper!

It’s Friday—holler! Time for a deal, and if our comments section is any indication, many of you have been waiting for this one. But first, since we’re still kind of introducing everyone, a little bit more about this beloved brand Tata Harper

Tata Harper emerged on the natural beauty scene shortly after the book came out, and well, we pretty much fell in love. We’ve covered them here, here, here and here! The brand provides everything we long for in a real natural product: beautiful and environmentally thoughtful packaging, high-quality handpicked ingredients, attention to detail, and also RESULTS. This is science-backed clean luxury at its best—a true upgrade from synthetics, as they promise—and as such, some of the products are a little bit pricier, which is why offering you guys a deal is so exciting!

So here it is: Starting today (and lasting until midnight next Thursday) you will receive a deluxe sample of Tata’s new Reparative Moisturizer (pictured above in its full—not sample—size) and a travel sized Hydrating Floral Essence with any purchase—no minimum! And by the way this gift is valued at a whopping 50 bucks. Boom!

All you have do is enter the promo code NMDL at checkout and you’re good to go. And! And! Tata ships internationally (but of course the rates vary depending on where you are).

For the record: We both use the floral essence (it smells incredible and is packed with skin-plumping actives like hyaluronic acid) and are dying to try this new moisturizer.

Okay, happy shopping then! And have a great weekend.

    Alexandra,

Help! Tata’s website said the coupon code is not valid : (

  2. ann says:

I was wondering if Tata Harper skincare products are available at any stores (not just online)? I looked on the website and couldn’t find any info..

  3. Rebecca says:

Check the link to Reparative Moisturizer – it actually goes to Rebuilding Moisturizer which seems to be a different product.

  4. Siobhan says:

They’re working on it! Try again in 15 :)

I recently got a trial kit of Tata Harper products, and I wish I could use this stuff but the smell is just so strong and difficult “live in”. The Regenerate Cleanser was the only item that I could bare.

Can you recommend any products that are all natural that don’t have such strong scents?

  6. Erika says:

How big is the moisturizer sample?

  7. Elizabeth says:

@Julie, try Dr. Alkaitis products! Clean scents that fade away within minutes–and absolutely awesome products. A little less expensive than Tata Harper too (I think). Check them out here: http://www.saffronrouge.com or http://www.spiritbeautylounge.com

@Julie, try Dr. Alkaitis products! The scent is very clean and it also doesn’t last. By the time my makeup is on, I can’t smell a thing…which bums me out, too, because I really like the scents! Check them out at http://www.saffronrouge.com or http://www.spiritbeautylounge.com

Julie, I have the same issue with Tata Harper. The products I tried felt great and seemed to work well, but I just can’t handle strong flowery smells. This sounds like a great deal for those who like TH though!

I use the straight-up Argan oil from Kahina Giving Beauty (can’t wait to see what their deal will be!) which has a light nutty scent that fades. I add my own actives to the argan oil to give me additional benefits I want with very little scent, but even alone Argan oil is spectacular.

Evan Healy has some scent to her products, but Pom serum and Sea Algae serum have a much lighter scent and not so “flowery.” That line is less expensive than TH but still pretty high end. For an even less expensive alternative look at 100% Pure. Some of their things have strong scents but more fruity than flowery, which is much better for me. Evan and 100% Pure both have some things in sample sizes and good return policies.

After making an order using the “NMDL” code, the Tata Harper website indicated that the code had been applied, but my completed order showed only a .10 (ten cent) discount, rather than reflecting the addition of the products described above. I love Tata Harper’s products (especially the resurfacing mask), but the website is awful, and the shipping costs are astronomical.

  11. Stancie says:

Awesome giveaway, ladies!! Love Tata Harper’s products and I agree, TH’s Floral Essence is gorgeous for the skin :) I’ll spread the word about this!

  12. Siobhan says:

I’m totally doing this deal haha. I love Tata Harper and her team (Keri is a queen), and believe in the insane amount of work she puts into all her products. The cleanser is my daily can’t-live-without so I’m going to re-up on that, and get these goodies too.

  13. courtney says:

Just placed an order – I love the smell of her products – especially the cleanser and the floral spray – I look forward to washing my face every day – and they really seem to have helped my sensitive acne-prone skin to calm down – love it- thanks!

  14. Katie says:

Are you referring to the Refreshing Cleanser or Regenerating Cleanser?
I would be Interested in the differences.

  15. Cameron Barry says:

Interested in trying TH but coupon code is definitely not working! No samples included with (attempted) order either.
    Thanks.

Hi! We apologize for the some of the technical difficulties anyone experienced earlier. We are updating our website (not our super duper one that is being worked on now) but a more easy to navigate site and introducing our new Tata Harper Blog. Too much was going on in cyber land… But for those of you who waited, or tried again, we promise the special will be well worth it.

In regards to the posts on the scent- Tata Harper uses absolutely zero traces of added fragrance to the line. What you are smelling are all the ingredients blended together and the ingredients we chose are mainly flowers, because they are the most potent and active- it ranges between 9 and 29 active ingredients in every product in the line. We are a beauty line driven by science and results. The scents were unintended, but interestingly enough is something that our customers now swear by, they love using them everyday.

If the scent is too overwhelming, our friends at this site always have the best ideas and recommendations.

Thanks everyone for reading No More Dirty Looks and passing on their amazing message.

    Keri @ Tata Harper

  17. Rebecca says:

Hi Keri, your comments about scent are important. I hope I didn’t seem to imply there’s anything artificial about the scents in my previous post. I think Tata is a great line for those who appreciate the scent.

I’m hoping that more natural companies will get into fragrance-free/unscented products. I’m not completely opposed to all-natural scents in products but know lots of people who need to be entirely fragrance free. I try to have some products I can use around these friends. I think there must be lots of women interested in clean products that also want little or no smell in their products. There are lots of fragrance free products, and lots of natural clean products, but not enough lines that combine those concepts. When I do get lucky to find such a thing, I often get stuck on the gluten issue. For example, I was thrilled to see John Masters come out with fragrance free shampoo and conditioner, but it has wheat proteins. I’m lucky that I’ve been able to find everything I need for myself either unscented or with a smell I like. But I have to give up some of those things on days I spend with my fragrance-free friends.

  18. Siobhan says:

@ Katie I use the regenerating. I freaking LOVE it. Since the first time I used it I’ve been hooked. It’s just a stellar, stellar product.

  19. Astrid says:

Hi, I just tried to use the coupon code, and the same thing happened to me as with Tracy above…..gave me $0.10 off and nothing added to my cart. I’ve never bought anything from TH, but my friend raves about her products, so I’d love to them. Will try again later…..

  20. Julie says:

Thank you for all of your suggestions on fragrance-free and less strongly fragrant skin care lines.
To be totally honest, the real issue is my husband! He has a highly sensitive noise. I too am sensitive, but I love the idea of getting all those ingredients on my face, and all natural ingredients!
The Regenerating Cleanser, however, is a keeper! It smells like a fruit smoothy :)

  21. Julie says:

Re: the trial sizes, the amount you get for the Regenerative Serum is pretty good because a little goes a long way.
It’s got an interesting texture that kind-of spreads in a weird way. This is the most expensive item in her line (I think) and so getting this alone as part of the kit is worth it and why I wanted to try the trial kit. The cleanser is not very much and it goes much faster – probably 3-4 days worth using it 2xs a day.

There is also a day moisturizer that’s a good amount for a trial, and an eye cream.

I love the mask too. This I’ve used 2xs now and I’d say there is another 2-3 applications. Talk about tightening up your skin! The smells is bearable for me on this product as well.

I’ll be passing along the other products to friends that can handle the scent better than I.

    Hope this helps!

Everyone please just post in the special comments section “No More Dirty Looks” and the free gift upon purchase will be included. We apologize greatly for this annoying inconvenience!! Tata Harper headquarters in Vermont is busy tweaking the final edits to the updated site and new blog- hopefully will be completed by tomorrow!! Thanks again for your patience.

Enjoy and let us know what you think of the new moisturizer, it has added olsesomes in it for a slikier, dewier finish. The travel size floral is great to keep with you in the purse at all times and soon the beach bag!!

  23. Lea says:

Yay! I’ve been wanting to try TH, perfect excuse. Can’t wait to see what the Kahina deal is too!

  24. O says:

graduate school has been causing me to break out badly & i’m hoping indulging in some TH will help heal my stressed out skin!

did anyone else wonder why the reviews on the TH website are all so low when TH seems to get such glowing reviews elsewhere?

  25. Mina says:

I’m coming into this conversation late but hope there’s still some chance to share thoughts and more importantly get feedback …

I was very relieved to find this discussion and read from Keri at Tata Harper the scents have been an unintentional by-product. Of course that makes sense. They use flowers, they’re going to have aromas.

But doesn’t the chemistry remain the same?

Could that be why people who are overly sensitive to scents can’t tolerate the products with the heavy aromas?
